Nie znamy dokładnej historii Thorayi. Wiemy tylko, że jak inne psy Baladi, żyła na ulicy. Pewnego dnia, jeden z właścicieli sklepiku, który dokarmiał Thorayę, zauważył, że sunia dziwnie się porusza. Zaniepokojony podszedł sprawdzić co się stało. Powiedział nam potem, że był bliski zemdlenia, gdy zobaczył w jakim stanie była Thoraya. Obydwie tylne łapy miała obcięte do polowy. Ból był z pewnością niesamowity, ale mimo tego, Thoraya, jakąś niewiarygodną siłą woli, poruszała się, na wszystkich czterech łapkach. Dowiedział się od sąsiadów, że Thoraya kręciła się w pobliżu torów kolejowych i pociąg obciął jej łapki. Świadek powiedział, że po wypadku sunia leżała w pobliżu torów… bez ruchu, więc uznał, że nie żyje.

Ale ona żyła! Musiała stracić przytomność, lecz gdy się ocknęła, wstała i powlokła się na swoją ulicę. Jak tego dokonała? Jakim cudem nie wykrwawiła się na śmierć? Skąd w tej biednej psinie wzięła się tak ogromna siła wewnętrzna, że była w stanie przezwyciężyć ból i poruszać się na swych strasznie poranionych łapach? Czy wiedziała, że dokarmiający ją właściciel sklepiku, udzieli jej pomocy? To jedna z najbardziej niesamowitych historii, jaką w życiu słyszałam.

Właściciel sklepiku powiadomił “APF” i Thoraya została umieszczona w klinice weterynaryjnej. Na razie nie ma mowy o przeprowadzeniu operacji, bo sunia jest zbyt osłabiona z powodu szoku, utraty krwi i rozleglej infekcji pasożytami nużeńca i świerzbowca. Obecnie nabiera sił w klinice i prosi o Państwa wsparcie na kosztowne leczenie.

Pomóżcie suni. Ona tak bardzo chce żyć…

We don't know the exact story of Thoraya. We only know that like other Baladi dogs, she had been living on the street. One day, one of the shop owners who had been feeding Thoraya, from time to time; noticed that the dog was moving in a strange way. Concerned, he went over to check what had happened. He told us later, that he almost faint, when he saw the state Thoraya was in. Both of her back legs were cut off halfway. The pain was certainly incredible, but despite this, Thoraya, with some incredible force of will, was able to moved on all four legs. He learned from some people, that Thoraya had been hanging around near the railway tracks and the train had cut off her paws. The witness said also, that after the accident Thoraya was lying near the tracks... motionless, so he assumed she was dead.

But she was alive!!! We don't know the exact story of this poor dog. We only know that like other Baladi dogs, she lived on the street. One day, one of the shop owners who fed Thoraya noticed that the dog was moving strangely. Concerned, he went over to check what had happened. He told us later that he was close to fainting when he saw the state Thoraya was in. Both of her hind legs were cut off halfway. The pain was certainly incredible, but despite this, Thoraya, with some incredible force of will, moved on all fours. He learned from the neighbors that Thoraya had been hanging around near the railway tracks and the train had cut off her paws. The witness said that after the accident the dog was lying near the tracks... motionless, so he assumed she was dead.
But she was alive!

When she regained consciousness, she got up and dragged herself to her street. How did she manage to do it? How on earth did she not bleed to death?

How did she manage to get such enormous inner strength, that she was able to overcome the pain and move on her terribly injured paws? Did she know that the owner of the shop who fed her would help her? This is one of the most incredible stories I have ever heard.

The owner of the shop notified “APF” and Thoraya was placed in a veterinary clinic. For now, there is no question of performing surgery, because she is too weak due to shock, blood loss and extensive infection with demodex and scabies parasites. She is currently gaining strength in the clinic.
